Veena Malik was unaware of the director Aanand Balraj and Kishore Bhanushali’s plan of playing Holi with her when she arrived at B R Studios in Juhu to dub for her film Daal Mein Kuch Kaala Hai. So she was taken by surprise when Aanand Balraj along with Kishore Bhanushali and writer Vijay Akela came out armed with natural colours to play the Holi with her. Aanand had got the gulaal made by natural herbs to make sure that the colours don’t affect the skin of the actress.
Veena Malik said: “I always try to play holi with natural colours which is eco friendly and which good for the face and body.”  This was Veena’s first Holi in India. Veena told media that if people play Holi with natural colours, they will have a safe and colourful holi. She also danced on her songs.
